Yes! You can get paid per kg, send to us for commission or donate.
You just need to package them up or to us locally and we take care of the rest.
Send us an email and let us know you would like to sell to us, we will get back to you with dates and a booking form.

We take maternity wear and children’s clothing and shoes from birth to 16 years.
On agreement we take;
Other postable children's items such as slings and carriers.
Items must be freshly washed, folded neatly and in excellent condition.
Our brands list shows which brands we take - please ask if it is not listed.
Supermarket and lower end brands we only take new.
*We do not take any women's wear*
We do not take;
Play wear, Socks, Tights or Underwear unless new. Nothing Personalised or marked with the year. Muslins unless new. Items that have labels cut out.

We buy Per Kg and pay as follows:
Higher End - £8.50
High street - £5.50
We buy at £1.50 per kg for new with tags lower end brands.
See Brands section for what we take or send us a message if not sure.
We also can sell for you taking a 50% commission available on higher end and designer brands with coats, dresses, all in ones, dungarees, jackets or hoodies.
If you would like a quote on your items then send us a message.
You can also opt to have your 50% of the commission donated to charity, just let us know.
You can drop them off to us by arrangement or we use DPD drop off locations.
We do NOT accept items which have marks, bobbling, animal hair, excessive fading, any damage or are from a smoking household.
Please check over your items in a good light to spot any marks.
If items are not in excellent condition they will be dropped in price for payment or if they are not what we take then we will not pay for them.
Please do not send in items that do not meet our requirements, they will be returned at your cost or sent for recycling.
Once we have received your items, they will be quality checked within 5 working days and then will be paid for as above.
We will contact you before payment with the offer, it is a non- negotiable offer.
If you do not wish to accept our offer then we will return your items to you at your own cost or take them to charity.
For commission items, we only take higher end and organic clothing, they will be added to the website as soon as possible and money will be paid at the end of each month for items sold.
Items for commission will be kept for 6 months and then we will check in with you, if you would then like the items back, they will be returned at your cost/ will need to be picked up. We may offer to buy them from you at a per kg rate.
We sell for you taking a 50% commission.
If a single item, such as a carrier, is over £60 then we take up to 40% commission.
You can be paid by BACS or paypal.
This will be filled in on your booking form.
For commission items, we only take higher end and organic clothing, they will be added to the website as soon as possible and money will be paid at the end of each month for items sold.

Buying From Us
The condition of clothing is very subjective and we try and make sure that we fully describe the condition of an item through lots of photos and a description that shows what category we would put it into.
We add to the website what we would be happy to put our own children in.
New with/without tags
Item is brand new. It may still have its tags or they may have been removed but item is unworn.
Excellent preloved condition
Item is in like new condition, showing very minimal signs of any wear. No flaws.
Very good preloved condition
Item shows very little signs of wear, minimal fading, no bobble.
Good preloved condition
Item is worn, it may have signs of wear such as wash wear or a small amount of bobbling. Any small marks are disclosed.
Play wear
Items that may have marks or imperfections. May have lots of wash wear, fade to colour or bobbling.
Items are second hand and so sometimes are slightly marked even though everything else about them is in excellent condition. In this case we state, for example, as excellent condition with a mark as shown, and in the photos show the mark so you can decide if the item is for you.
We do this for items we believe it would be a shame to downgrade as everything else about the item is excellent.
Our aim is sustainability, to find new homes for clothing so that it can be loved again instead of heading to landfill!
Please always send us a message if you are unsure about something.
We reuse as much as we can - and when we buy new we opt for recycled and recyclable.
We currently have branded mail bags from a shut down company so that we can use instead of these all ending up in landfill due to the branding.
If you send us a bag of bags that can be reused then we will give you free postage on your next order with us.
Yes, We have organised our collections so that you can shop all our items by age and filter by item.
You can also shop by boys or girls and age, select this on the menu.
We aim to post within 3 working days. You are able to select first or second class delivery at checkout.
We do send out tracking information via Royal Mail but if your delivery is later than expected then do get in contact.
We use Royal Mail - when your order is dispatched you should receive an email with tracking details.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can either log into your account and select which items you will be sending back or you can contact us at info@secondsnuggle.com.
If your return is accepted, instructions on how and where to send your package will be provided. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Unwanted items being returned are done so at the customer's own cost.

We currently only ship within the UK.
Consider using The Post Lady if you need orders shipping outside of the UK.
